Piringan

mobil.
Disc brakes are braking devices used in modern vehicles. It works by
clamping the brake discs which are usually attached to the wheels of the
vehicle, used to clamp the disc caliper piston driven to push the brake
shoe (brake pads) to disc. Brake type is also used on trains, motorcycles,
cars.
1. disc
Disc / disc ( disc rotor ) usually made of cast iron , there are several
forms of this rotor disc that is the type of solid ( solid ) , and the type
of holes ( ventilation ) as well as with additional drum -type solid . Type
of ventilation consists of a pair perforated disc which prevents the
cooling of the brake discs can be maximum , to prevent fading and ensure a
longer lifespan pad and durable .
2. Brake Pad
Pad ( disc pad ) or the workshop the workshop used to call the brake is a
component of the brake disc that functions together with the disc ( disc )
and rubbing together to generate braking power . In general, the pad is
made from a mixture of metallic fiber plus a small amount of iron powder ,
for this type of pad is commonly called the " Semi Metallic Disc Pad " .
3. Caliper
Caliper also referred to the cylinder body , this caliper is a component
that does not move from the brake discs . Holds the caliper pistons and
equipped with a channel where the brake fluid supplied to the cylinder .
When applying the brakes or operated the oil from the master cylinder will
push the piston in the caliper and the piston will be pushed and pressed
pad will eventually come into contact with the discs ( disc ) , there was
braking . Caliper according to the type of installation can be grouped into
two , namely Type Fixed Caliper ( Double Piston ) and Type Floating caliper
( Singgle Piston ) .
4Brake booster is a device that uses the difference between the engine
vacuum and atmospheric pressure to produce a strong power ( driving power )
that is proportional to the force to operate the brake pedal suppressor
The master cylinder is a component of the brake system to continue
functioning brake pedal pressure into the oil pressure in a cylinder with a
piston motion mechanism .
