Malton village is along term center with 132 residents,
divided into 6 units on 3 floors. For first few weeks
during our placement we did shadowing of the PSW's
to change briefs and do perineal care and then
learned to do assessments and provide medications
,to the clients assigned to us by our instructor. It was a
great experience to learn the feeding and taking care of
clients. saw the incidences and learned to bring them
in record. Learned to prioritize our skills and used
critical thinking to evaluate care plans and while
providing care to the assigned clients.

This semester was an actual learning semester where I came to direct contact of the patient did all the assessments, made careplans, gave
medications after learning the indications and contraindication of the drugs,learned to prioritize and used critical thinking to plan care of assigned
client.There is need of improvement in assessment techniques and time management skills.I have made my learning plans to show my competency
to my instructor before 22nd april.
