Researched area located in TENAGA Field, Baturaja Formation, South
Sumatera Basin. On this research, inversion method was used to determine physic
characteristic of lithology, and AVO method was used for hydrocarbon identification
and hydrocarbon reservoir mapping from seismic data. Result from inversion analysis
method showed that low impedance value indicate higher porosity otherwise, high
impedance value indicate lower porosity. Result from AVO method indicate that Class I
AVO signed with negative gradient value ((-0.2)-(-2)) is hydrocarbon potential area
with NOIP value 25.4 MSTB in TENAGA Fields carbonate reservoir, Baturaja
Formation, South Sumatera Basin.
