ARTS CENTRAL ANNOUNCES CHANGES

Bend, OR, April 19. 2016. On Monday, April 18 th, Executive Director Cate OHagan
announced her resignation from Arts Central, a Central Oregon non-profit, effective
immediately.

The Arts Central Board of Directors would like to thank OHagan for her 20 years of
service. OHagan has made a great impact in Central Oregon as a principal arts
advocate for the community and has lead Arts Central through exciting and challenging
times, said Alyce Dawes, Board Treasurer.
The Arts Central Board is confident that the organization will continue to provide the
excellent arts programs they are well-known for in the region and that these measures
will, in the long run, keep the arts on the forefront as both a cultural and a tourism
benefit for the area, said Marsha Stout, Board Member, Arts Advocacy representative.

Deborah Allen, the Art Education Director, has demonstrated solid leadership over the
past several years developing new and enhanced arts programs benefitting Central
Oregons youth, educators and broader community and significantly expanding Art
Stations reach as well as evolving Artists in Schools and Van Go.

We wish Cate the best and look forward to a strong future continuing to bring arts
programs to Central Oregon community.
