Agile management or agile project management is an iterative and


incremental method of managing the design and build activities for
engineering, information technology, and new product or service
development projects in a highly flexible and interactive manner. [Wikipedia]

In this four-hour training workshop for instructional designers, youll


discover the power of Agile Project Management, how it integrates with the
ADDIE process, the terminology and processes unique to Scrum, and how to
improve your course analysis through personas and action mapping.
After completing this workshop, you should be able to:

Identify weaknesses in Bisks traditional course development process


Explain how Agile and ADDIE fit together
Identify minimum viable products in your course development
Describe the benefit of early feedback from cross-functional teams
Define basic terms related to Scrum
Evaluate the usefulness of various types of task/planning boards
Create an effective persona for a target student

Use action mapping to determine the minimum information necessary


to meet a course objective
