Objectives
1. Students will understand requirements for playing test at the end
of the week.
2. Students will play with a good sound, using proper air support
and speed.
3. Students will read new music using the proper sight-reading
techniques discussed in class.

accidental in their music.

o Discuss scale formula and scale, write scale before looking

o What are the biggest challenges in this exercise- reaching
the top two notes of the scale, need good breath support
and fast air!

For each number, students will look over the exercise before
playing. Each exercise will be broken down into chunks if
necessary.

students and correct problems that are heard.
