RE: Todd Shumway
This is a recommendation letter for Todd Shumway. Mr. Shumway was my former
nursing student in the Pediatric clinical rotation (N320 Family Health) at Kapi'olani
Community College during Fall 2015.
I am a Faculty/Clinical Instructor for the Pediatric clinical rotation at Kapiolani
Community College Associate in Science Degree Nursing Program. The clinical location
site took place at Tripler Army Medical Center.
During clinical, Mr. Shumway has come to clinical well prepared and with completed
paperwork. His concept maps for assigned pathophysiology has been well done. He is
also able to comprehend plan of care for assigned patients during his time at Tripler.
Also, staff members have complemented him of being professional and overall pleasant
with his interactions amongst staff members, caregivers and more importantly pediatric
patients.
I highly recommend Todd Shumway for a position in your unit. He will be a fine
addition as staff there.
