TSW: Ability to properly locate the different geographic regions of the nation and distinguish
specific characteristic of those different regions
TSW: Guide students through a web browsing activity that would help them discover various
elements of the different geographic regions and formulate answers on a separate Microsoft
Word Document
TTW: Present a Power Point slide show, which would allow students to visually see and
comprehend information about the different geographic regions
Procedures:
Class Period 1:
TTW: Present a Power Point slide show, which would allow students to visually see and
comprehend information about the different geographic regions
Time required: 45 minutes
Materials required:
One computer for the teacher to open the Power Point on
A projector/ smart board to present the slide show
Accommodations: Students who have trouble seeing the projector/paying attention to the
lecture could have individual Power Point presentations printed out for them to look at and take
notes on
