Heads-Up Display for Motor Vehicle: Harmless and Cost
Effective Navigation System
Motivation
Nearly 1.3 million people die in road crashes each year,
on average 3,287 deaths a day
An additional 20-50 million are injured or disabled
More than half of all road traffic deaths occur among
young adults ages 15-44
Road traffic crashes rank as the 9th leading cause of
death and account for 2.2% of all deaths globally
One of the reason of accidents are displays and meters
on the dashboards
Driver took around 1.2 seconds (approx.) to analyze
1.2 seconds of less attention on road can be disastrous

Probable Applications
Heads-Up display can be used in vehicles for
navigation
It can be used for showing Speed, fuel quantity etc.
It can be used for operating windows of vehicle, music
player, roof tops etc.
It can be used for displaying warning when over
speeding
It can be used for forming Adhoc network which can
be used to create traffic management system
