To Whom It May Concern:
It has been a pleasure getting to know Lyndsey Strange this year. Ms. Strange was a student in my class
during the fall 2015 semester. During this time she did an outstanding job of teaching and utilizing
resources to optimize the learning environment. Beyond this she showed maturity and great leadership
potential. She looked at all aspects of a situation before making decisions and moving forward.
Ms. Strange stood out among her peers as a mentor and leader. She was able to bring experiences into the
class that others had not had because of her previous work in the education field. She showed a great deal
of enthusiasm about education and helping individuals learn and succeed. She believed in the whole child
and creating the best learning environment for each student. She managed her time wisely and was always
organized, on time, prepared, and excited to learn.
Ms. Strange has high ethical and moral standards. She has high expectations for herself and others. In
class discussions she is able to understand others perspectives and bring in different viewpoints to enrich
the conversations. In collaborative activities, she was mindful of others and what they had to offer. She
was able to read individuals and make them feel comfortable while at the same time making sure that
everyone had a voice.
Ms. Strange did exceptional work and carried herself very well. She always had a smile on her face and
was a pleasure to be around. Her dedication to school showed in the numerous hours she spends creating
positive learning experiences. She has a lot to offer and would be an outstanding candidate as a CTE
teacher. Please give her your utmost consideration.

To Whom It May Concern:
I take great pleasure in writing this letter of recommendation for Ms. Margaret Lyndsey Strange. I have
known Ms. Strange for the past year as a student at the University of Arkansas. Ms. Strange was in
three of my fall 2015 courses. I also have the pleasure of supervising Ms. Stranges internship and
visiting her classroom over the course of this spring semester.
Ms. Strange not only has a very likeable personality, she works cooperatively with her peers on
coursework and as a professional with her mentor teacher and other teachers in the school. I can tell
she strives to do what is right and to do her best when it comes to course work and her internship. Ive
heard only good things from colleagues about Ms. Strange, and I believe she would work hard at any
job to be successful and help her students be successful.
When I last visited Ms. Stranges classroom, I noticed how effectively she interacted with her junior
high students, and that there was mutual respect among them. Lyndseys mentor teacher spoke highly
of her and her accomplishments. Observing in her classroom is enjoyable and I can tell that Ms.
Strange has very high rapport with the students. When offered constructive feedback, Lyndsey always
listens attentively and portrays her willingness to meet any challenge. I can tell she truly cares about
her students and I believe Ms. Strange will be a fabulous teacher who works hard to create meaningful
learning opportunities for her students.
Please give Ms. Margaret Lyndsey Strange your highest consideration. If I can be of further assistance
please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
