Teen Care

It takes a village
to raise a child

Making A Difference.

I am apart of the Little Rock Dream Catcher Outreach Inc. Home of

the Dream Catchers Dance team is a non-profit organization for
young girls ages 7-17 years. We are more than just a dance team. We
help our community girls stay out of trouble, give them something to
occupy their time and stay focused on education. Our coaches are
more than their average duties. The coaches are mentors and role
models for the girls. We get the girls more involved into the
community.

What is the issue?

I want to help keep African American youth off the street and be focused more
in school. We need more African American youth to graduate with higher GPAs
from high school and more graduating from college instead of just working at
dead-in jobs or going to the military. We need to let our children know that they
can actually be someone important and be known other than being an athlete
star. They can be known as a successful business owner.

Sports is the only

way out:

Most African

sports is going to
be there forever,
which in reality

Behavioral problems.
Tyler Whittenberg
argues that legislation
surrounding the policy
is illogical, especially
given that when
students are expelled,
they are usually being
sent to the
environment that
triggers the punishable
behavior in the first
place.

Students with parents

conferences all the way
until high school.
