1. The Topic: My PowerPoint presentation is on the four
seasons of the year. For each season, I state what
months belong in that season and the types of activities
we can do during that season. The purpose of this
presentation is to teach students about the four
seasons of the year and what months belong in each
season. With this knowledge, students will be able to
know what they can do in each season, what to wear in
each season and from knowing the months that belong
in each season, they can learn what season their
birthday is in.
2. The Audience: The audience is a first grade
classroom with children whose ages vary from six to
seven. It is an inclusion classroom with children from
different countries and with children who have learning
disabilities. The students have previously learned about
the weather and the months of the year.
3. The Objectives:
a. The students will be able to name the four
seasons
i. This objective will be met in slide 2. They will
be able to apply this knowledge throughout
the entire lesson.
b. The student will be able to identify what months
belong in each season
i. This objective will be met in slides 4,6,8 & 10.

c. The students will be able to name the seasons in

chronological order
i. This objective will be met in slide 3. They will
be able to apply this knowledge throughout
the entire lesson.
4. Support Media: I used two different types of support
media. The first support media I used was from
youtube.com. It is used in the second slide. It is a song
about the seasons and what you can do during each
season. The second support media I used is from
education.com. This support media is an interactive
game. It involves sorting the clothes you wear into two
different suitcases according to the weather. The song
supports auditory-musical learners and the game
supports visual-spatial.
5. ISTE Standards:
2. Design and develop digital age learning
experiences and assessments
c. Customize and personalize learning
activities to address students diverse learning
styles, working strategies, and abilities using
digital tools and resources.
i. Students can learn about the seasons
through the interactive game, song, and the
worksheet provided at the end of the lesson.
1. Facilitate and inspire student learning and
creativity
b. Engage students in exploring real-world
issues and solving authentic problems using
digital tools and resources
i. Students can use the interactive game to
use technology in relating seasons to realworld problems. The game is about sorting

clothes according to the weather in the

season
6. Follow-up Activities:
a. There will be given a worksheet given at the end
of the lesson. The worksheet involves coloring,
cutting, and gluing the picture that matches each
season.
b. There will be an interactive game that involves
sorting the clothes into a suitcase according the
season.
c. In groups, students will talk about what season
their birthday is in and they will talk about what
season is their favorite.
