Week One:

Students will take a pre-assessment on prerequisite skills needed in

order to solve integers and operations problems.

Students will listen to a voiceThread presentation on absolute value.

Students will complete Who Wants To Be A Hundredaire and take a

screenshot of their $100 prize and upload it to Edmodo.

Students will watch a voiceThread presentation on adding integers.

Students will respond to the discussion board (Edmodo) stating one

thing they learned about absolute value and one thing they learned
about the rules for adding integers. The instructor will create a google
document that they will share with the entire class and all students will
need to solve two problems and record their name next to the problem
that they completed.

Week Two:

Students will watch a voiceThread presentation on subtracting

integers.

Students will watch the video from Khan academy and state three
things they learned from each video on Edmodo.

Week Three:

Students will pick their favorite topic that we have learned about so

far this year and will start to brainstorm ideas on how they would teach

Students that taught their lesson the day before will be an active
participant in their lesson today, and the students that were

Students will take their online test on solving one and two-step
equations.

Week 12

Students will be introduced to ratio and proportion vocabulary (rate,

ratio, proportion, etc.) and they will practice on Quizlet.

Students will complete their Quizlet assessment with the vocabulary

words and take a screenshot of their results and post it to Edmodo.

Students will watch a voiceThread presentation on ratios.

Students will come up with five ratios and post it to Edmodo and they
will have to respond to two of their peers response as well.

Students will take a mini-assessment on ratios.

Week 13:

Students will watch a voiceThread on rates.

Students will need to create two questions on rates from the

voicethread that was created on Monday.

Students will need to answer two questions by responding to their

classmates questions using the voiceThread.

Students will create a brief video discussing what a ratio is and what a
rate is and post their video on Edmodo.

Students will self-assess using Edmodo on what they think the positive
things are to using the virtual school and how the virtual school can be
improved.

Week 14

Students will watch a voiceThread on unit rates.

Students will complete an interactive activity on unit rate and take a
screenshot when they are done with their score.

unit rates that are used in the real world such as gas, buying
something per pound, etc. They will post their results to Edmodo.
They will also have to respond to two of their classmates.

Ten different graphs will be created on a google document and

students will have to answer 2 questions about the unit rate and they
will have to put their name by the question they answered in order to
receive credit.

Students will take an online quiz on unit rate.

Week 15:

Students are to complete the interactive activity and take a

Week 16:

have to solve three problems using the percent proportion.

Students practice with the vocabulary words from this section such as
percent, discount, markup, tax, etc. Then, they will have to complete
the Quizlet quiz and take a screenshot of their results.

Students will complete all four areas of going shopping at the mall as
an educational simulation tool, and then they will post their winning
screen with all coins to Edmodo.
