Explain: The teacher used direct instruction as well as integrated teaching methods. Students
learned the new topic by the teacher lecturing (direct instruction). Then, they practiced/enriched
their learning by group work (cooperative learning).

Explain: The teacher used the smart board throughout the lesson. It has tools that make Math
teaching effective and efficient by saving time. The teacher also used the textbook for direct

Explain:

Students studied worksheets for the warm-up and the group work. Worksheets help with
practicing Math concepts. Students were assigned with homework that is also a form of
worksheet.

Explain:

Classroom procedures and routines had been communicated clearly. Student


expectations were clear. Students knew what to do from the beginning until the end of
the lesson. As a result, they were self-disciplined. The teacher did almost nothing in
terms of discipline.

The teacher was in charge of the classroom. Students were engaged in learning. There
was an environment of respect. It was safe and orderly. The teacher used different
instructional strategies to ensure student learning. Students did individual and group
work. The teacher used the smart board effectively.
