picture your friends that may not be in this room.
One in five women and one in sixteen men will fall victim to sexual assault before
they graduate college.
Sexual assault has the chance of affecting each and every single one of us yet
we each have a chance to change that statistic too.

Sexual Assault is any type of sexual contact or behavior that

occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient. Falling under
the definition of sexual assault are sexual activities such as forced
sexual intercourse, forcible sodomy, child molestation, incest,

STATISTICS SAY IT ALL

Sexual assault is considered to be one of the most underreported
crimes in the world.
1 in 5 women and 1 in 16 men fall victim to sexual assault could
be completely incorrect due to the fact that 90 percent of assaults go unreported.

We still dont condemn seuxal assault as loudly as we should. We make
excuses. We look the other way. The message THAT sends can have a chilling
effect. Its on all of us to end sexual assault- POTUS Barack Obama

What can we do?
Call to Action to change
Choice to be a part of a statistics or to completely erase it.
No longer be quiet about sexual assault. We are the future, we are the
next doctors, lawyers, businessmen and educators of tomorrow.
