What was the most important thing you got from Rivas testimony? The most
important thing I gathered from Rivas testimony was the idea that the holocaust is
more than just history, to some it is a reminder of what can happen when influential
people run rampant without a leash (limit).

Write about what is on your mind. What in this poem resonates with you? What
resonates with me about the poem is this idea of destiny. The idea that life has one
outcome and has already been determined by a set amount of factors, but is still
unknown until the moment of the present. What is on my mind is that, although
these people suffered, died, and survived, it was bound to happen since the
beginning of everything. There was no changing it, because the factors of life,
existence, and everything else have already been generated and put into play. I
believe what the author wants me to get about destiny is that it is independent of
everything else, it will happen no matter what, it is unchangeable. But, results of
destiny should not be waived off as acceptable.
