Inquiry Based Learning

'Inquiry based learning' not just an asking students questions but it's
more important than that it is a prose's where teacher lead student to think,
discover, active and solving the questions to achieve her goals to make a
clearly lesson for students. This prose's is make by five stage and it called
5E's and its called like that because its start by letter E, and it is
engagement, exploration, explanation, extension, and evaluation.

Engagement:
Engagement is the first important stage in teaching which on it teacher
will know if the student are involving the lesson or not. Also teacher will take
the feedback from the students to know what they already know about the
lesson and make a clear understanding by asking them a question like, why
do you think this happen?, what do you already know about this? or what can
you find out of this?. According to Jane Bresnick engagement mean is that to
facilitate the lesson and make it interesting for student by making activity in
a small group in different part of classroom where student will deeply focus
and discuss together. (Bresnick, 2000).

Exploration:
The second stage is to explore. In exploration teacher let student to
discover and have a freely thinking which related to the lesson and test
prediction and hypotheses. They will weak there imagine also they will guess
or ask question to explore. Also it help student to organize the knowledge
they are taking. For example, the lesson of balloon and candles after the
second activity student will see that the balloon which have a water don't
explodes then they will ask question why? and they will give some reason of
what they are thinking.

Explanation:
In these stage student will explain and give there feedback of what
they understand from the lesson. However teacher will ask a question to
evaluate their understanding and see what they understand to focus in what
they don't understand. Also teacher can ask student to explain there thinking
in real life and what they are do and see in their life which related to the
lesson.

Extension (Elaboration):
Elaborate help students to elaborate on their understanding of the
lesson and they shear there idea and present it also use bravoes information
to ask question, propose solution and give examples. It is important to
extend student to improve their skills and to encourage them to study
however using different activity in classroom and use technology will help
student to be involve and share their idea. Teacher must encourage student
to let them join and communicate in classroom for example she give student
who answer question a gift so they will like to talk in the class.

Evaluation:
The last stage is evaluation and it is important for both student and
teacher because teacher will know if there student are understanding the
knowledge very well from there feedback she will get. Also student will have
a good understanding for the lesson and if it's not teacher will focus the
mistake. There is some examples to evaluate the learning of student like, ask
questions which is related to the lesson and answer open-ended question by
using evidence and observation.
