DescriptionofProcedure:
Alaserlightisplacedonatableinthebackoftheroom.Aslideholderispositionedinfrontofthelaser
onthesametable.Aslidecontainingadoubleslitisplacedintheslideholder.Thelaserisdirectedat
thedoubleslitandtheresultingpatternisprojectedontoascreeninthefrontoftheroom.Oncethe
projectedtwopointsourceinterferencepatternisprojectedontothescreen,measurementsaremade
todeterminethewavelengthoflight.Theslitseparationdistanceisretrievedfromtheslide.
