MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING
Provided individual assessment and counseling services to diverse adult population diagnosed with mental illness, and
often comorbid developmental disability.
Co-led weekly Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) group for consumers to encourage sustained mental wellness.
Led weekly anger management group to help program consumers improve social interactions and achieve their
individual goals as outlined in their person-centered plans.
Led multi-week smoking cessation group. More than 75% of participants reduced smoking by end of course.
Gained experience with interventions based in mindfulness and motivational interviewing.

LEARNING & ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT


Led the design and execution of Delhaize Group Learning initiatives including ORACLE, Skill of the Year, and
Leadership Meeting. Audiences for these Delhaize Group-wide programs ranged from 30-630.
Co-designed and facilitated Delhaize Group global skills training program, Skill of the Year. Developed curriculum
start-to-finish, recruited instructors, and planned logistics for 7-9 annual global sessions.
Designed and consulted on processes and programs, enabling groups to successfully initiate and manage organizational
change. Examples include improving Mega Images performance evaluation process and leadership development work
with Belgiums HR leadership team.
Facilitated numerous Fierce Conversations sessions to improve direct and open conversations across the global
organization. Impact as measured by continued use of language and principles continues into 2012.

LEADERSHIP
Participated in Food Lions Southwestern Market leadership team, which was responsible for leading 250 Food Lion
stores as well as special projects. Responsible for talent planning, real estate, and capital spending decisions.
Led more than 400 associates in 11 East Tennessee Food Lion stores, with responsibilities for associate development,
profit & loss performance, merchandising compliance, customer service, and day-to-day operations
Global management experience directed work of two Belgian-based colleagues during management vacancies. Used
French in work to establish rapport as facilitator and colleague. Frequent written work communication in French.
Participated in the development of Delhaize Groups Budget, Planning, & Forecast (BPF) teams global strategy.
