Narrative Assignment
Length: 3-4 pages

For this assignment, you will construct a personal narrative reflecting

on one of the following options:
1. Write about your earliest birthday party you can remember, then
rewrite it from a family members perspective, both following as
much as you can remember of the days events.
2. Write about one of the most memorable events you were
participating in (not just watching) then write about it as if you
were an audience member.
3. Write about one of your favorite vacations, preferably one that
lasted less than a week, then rewrite it as if the vacation spot
was your hometown.
From this assignment, students will be able to write not only empathetically,
but also look at their experiences in a different light.
