Climate Change has always been a subject people care about and may be something that
several other people dont really care about. There are many things that people believe might be
the reason for the sudden change of climate, but they believe many reasons why are because
of natural causes which isnt really the case. The cause of climate change though it may be hard
to understand is mainly caused by people. A lot of people disagree and seem to always think
there is no way that this was caused by us. Through many years people havent really given
much thought to this but the dramatic change in climate has not only been brought to several
companies but it has also been brought to many certain individuals who have a passion to stop
the over dramatic change of climate.
Over the past 50 years, the average global temperature has increased at the fastest rate
in recorded history(2016). Due to the increasing amount of temperature, it doesnt not only infect
our personal health but it affects the weather, crazy weather such as droughts, heavier rainfall
and powerful hurricanes. Climate change of course is caused by global warming, which is
caused when carbon dioxide and other air pollutants collect in the atmosphere and cause the
climate to get warmer (2016). The burning of fossil fuels are mainly used in our daily lives such
as burning gasoline, generate electricity and the use of several corporations and factories. After
the year 2000 when the increasing amount of demand for gas showed that the temperature
rose.
Climate change is a real thing and it is affecting our daily lives and many people dont
think that its a big deal, but noticing the increasing amount of temperature people have started
to question if climate change is still a myth. I believe one time that it wasnt us that was causing
climate change but towards the years I noticed the increased amount of smog in the El Paso
area and noticed how it can possibly be affected by us. There are many things that are also

being affected, not just here in El Paso but all around the world and different other places.
People dont understand just how much our earth has changed throughout the years and how it
might get progressively worse with even more years to come. The chart belows shows the
increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere from the year 1950 to 2016

There are many things we should always take into consideration, there are many things that
can be done to prevent even more things from occurring and from the carbon dioxide to
increase throughout the years what a lot of people dont realize is that a global warming and
climate change may be too late to overcome, but we can always try our best to prevent it from
getting any worse and the answer is pretty simple, reduce the use of carbon dioxide, use a bike
when traveling somewhere not too far, there are many websites and businesses that try their
best to explain ways to prevent our climate from getting any worse and its gonna take a lot of
effort and donations to do our best from saving our planet from getting any worse. Cutting down

on the CO2 intake can not only save ourselves, our environment and not only that but a bunch
of many other species. Knowing there are many things that can be done it is hard to convince
other people to do the same thing like caring about the environment even though it maybe too
late there's always a way we can all slow it down but it requires many people's help and
everyone's will to want to stop the planet from becoming worse.
