At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
(i) match the vocabulary from the text with correct pictures.
(ii)read and scan the text to identify the idioms in the text.
(iii) demosnstrate their understanding about the text by
sequencing the story correctly.
1) Students are asked about their wellbeing.
2) Students are asked about what stories or fairytales that they
know. They name and talk about them in their own words.
3) Students are introduced with vocabulary in the text. The
teacher drills them with the pronunciation and also the
meanings.
4) Students are taught about the vocabulary with the pictures.
5) Students be with their partner. Students do the activity called
Matching Pictures and Words. The teacher gives one drawing
paper to each pair. The teacher shows a picture in front, the
students look for the words that match to it. Then, they paste the
words on the drawing paper. The steps are repeated.
6) The students read the text with correct pronunciation. The
teacher explains the text, one by one.
7) The students do the sequencing activity on their activity
book.
Students recall what vocabulary they have learnt and the
storyline.
