Dear Parents,
We made it! This is just a note to thank you for all your help and support. The children did us proud
and remained calm throughout the week, we hope this was reflected at home, thank you to those
of you who have sent us positive feedback about the week and the run up to the tests we really
appreciate it.
As promised there will be no homework for the rest of this half term, however lessons and learning
will still continue as we prepare the children for the next stage in their life high school!
Finally, a note to the children from a letter that was sent to Year 6 children in 1999, and sums up
really what we want to say to them!
The SATs test does not assess all of what makes each of you special and unique. The people who
create theses tests and score them do not know each of you the way we do and certainly not in the

Thank you children for doing your best and make sure you have a restful weekend ready and raring
to go on Monday.
