The image below is an excerpt of my second year EDFX212 placement report form. Which shows that I
am able to meet all of the criteria in standard 4.














The image below shows the feedback that the same supervising teacher gave me for this standard. This
demonstrates that I was able to meet standard 4.1, by engaging all students during lessons by valuing
and acknowledging their responses during discussions. It is also evident that I was able to use positive
reinforcement when managing student behaviour to meet standard 4. 3.


















Develops lesson plans which detail learning goals clearly. Develops effective timing for lessons. Ensures
resources are relevant for teaching and learning effectiveness. Acknowledges and values student
responses and attempts to engage all students. Evaluates promptly after the completion of lesson. Uses
positive reinforcement when managing student behaviour. Offers students extra assistance or
explanation as required. Creates explicit success criteria for lessons.









Below is an excerpt of my supervising teachers feedback for this standard during EDFX213. It shows my
ability to meet standard 4 by efficiently organising and managing classroom activities (4.2), managing
challenging behaviour with the use of the schools discipline policy (4.3) and support student
participation through engaging with students (4.1).


















Jamie demonstrated the capacity to organise classroom activities and provide clear instructions. She
used the school discipline policy to manage student behaviour effectively. Jamie roamed the classroom
and engaged with the students during lessons ensuring participation and a high level of engagement
from the students. She kept records of assessment.
