CONTEMPORARY ART © PORTFOLIO ~~“Sa Kabilang Dako (In an Alternate Universe)" is the first of my series of series to narrate my perpetual longing to be in the "Kabilang Dako", a place where everyone is free. The watercolor and ik on paper series is my way of articulating the idea that gay men should be free from social chains that curtail their freedom of thoughts and expression. The naked bodies are bold attempts to sist that there is nothing wrong with any form of expression as long as it does not offend anybody. It can also be noticed that the heads were replaced with galaxies in varying forms to represent my appeal that every man should be allowed to think beyond, Ona deeper level, this series is my freedom from the judgment of people on nudist art. Stepping up to exhibiting nudity as an expression beyond just the anatomy to convey my deepest intentions. This series isn't just a narrative of my past, this is also a story of every gay man's struggles to live in a world just like that "Sa Kabilang Dako (In an Alternate Universe)”
