Reflections

I had a really hard time on Geometry this period. However I did have a few
good grades on my participation and projects. My main weaknesses in here are
mostly the angles. I barely knew the differences between the alternate and interior
angles. Also I had trouble knowing the difference between corresponding and
consecutive angles. But, a few of my strengths were the projects and some of the
homeworks. I honestly dont like math at all much less Geometry thats why even
when I do study I end barely remembering some of the stuff the next day.
In chapter 1, part 1 I did well on finding the distance and midpoint. I did not
do well on the planes or explaining my reasonings. The chapter was on Geometry
Terms. I learned some new geometry terms.
In chapter 1, part 2 I did well knowing the angles. I did not do well on
identifying the angles. The chapter was on Angle Relationships. I learned all the
angle terms and the degrees.
In chapter 2, I did well on patterns and conditional statements. I did not do
well on the Laws, Deductive Reasoning, and Proof in Algebra. This chapter was on
Reasoning and Proof. I learned all the Properties of Equality.
In chapter 3 part 1, I did well on identifying angles and finding the measures
of angles. I did not do well on finding the missing angle measures. The chapter was
on Identifying Pairs of Angles. I learned how to identify angles.
In chapter 3 part 2, I did well on identifying the slopes. I did not do well on
finding the slopes or inequalities. The chapter was on Slope and Distance. I learned
the types of slopes.
In chapter 4 part 1, I did well on finding the coordinates. I did not do well on
finding the lengths and classification of the sides. The chapter was on Triangles
and Congruence Part 1. I learned how to find the value of y.
In chapter 4 part 2, I did well on finding the value of x. I did not do well on
the postulates, theorems, and finding the missing measures. The chapter was on
Theorems and Postulates. I learned the postulates.
In chapter 5, I did well on constructing and concurrency. I did not do well on
finding the measuring. The chapter was on Special Segments of Angles and
Inequalities of Triangles. I learned the points of concurrency.

In chapter 6, I did well on properties and definitions. I did not do well on

finding the angles. The chapter was on Quadrilaterals. I learned how to find the
missing lengths.
In chapter 7, I did well on naming the polygons. I did not do well finding the
sum of the measures. The chapter was on Polygons. I learned concave and convex.
In chapter 8, I did well on Pythagorean Theorem and special right triangles. I
did not do well on finding the measures or missing sides. The chapter was on
Trigonometry. I learned Pythagorean Theorem and Right Triangles.
