democratic process. Co-assist students with implementation of fundraisers, school spirit activities, donations,
and student initiated school policy proposals.

Curriculum Pacing and Assessment Development. Assist in the development of the county wide curriculum pacing
guide in areas such as writing, math, and science. County wide assessments were also developed to align with both
the new pacing guide and current state standards.

Ruckersville Action Team. Served as 4th grade team leader. Planned and facilitated collaborative professional weekly
meetings within my grade level. Developed and led cross-curricular units within and across grade levels.
Attend monthly Action Team meetings and professional retreats with other team leaders and administration to
strengthen curriculum and standards.

Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) Item and Test Review Committee. Examined test items to confirm alignment
with the SOL, reviewed test items for appropriateness and fairness with consideration to bias and stereotyping regarding
gender, religion, age, and etc., examined field test data for potential test items, and recommended items to be included in
the test item bank.
