Check-point 1

Hardware:
Functional prototype of the LOBBYIST platform with TIVA, batteries, drive fans and lift fan.
TIVA can be connected to a terminal by USB. The circuits may be in breadboard at this
point.

Test Procedure:
o Press 'H' on the terminal - The LOBBYIST will hover
o Press 'W' on the terminal - The LOBBYIST will move forward
o Press 'A' on the terminal - The LOBBYIST will rotate left
o Press 'F' on the terminal - The LOBBYIST will rotate right
o Press 'S' on the terminal - The LOBBYIST will move backward
o Press 'H' on the terminal - The LOBBYIST will stop hovering

Check-point 2

Hardware:

Finalized functioning LOBBYIST platform, carrying all of the hardware of check-point 1 in

addition to a prototype of the DMC, the XBEE, and credential badge. PAC will be an
electronics prototype with a processor, XBEE, and inputs. It may not be integrated to the
mechanical architecture, and may be powered from the desktop power supply. LOBBYIST,
DMC and PAC electronics may be in breadboard. PAC and LOBBYIST will communicate
over radio using the 218C Communication Protocol, and the DMC receives instructions from
the LOBBYIST using the PIC12F752 coded in assembly.

Test Procedure:
o Set LOBBYIST credential badge to "1"
o Turn the PAC and LOBBYIST on - The DMC on the LOBBYIST will display
that it is not paired.
o Select "red" on the PAC toggle switch
o Make sure nothing is blocking the IR sensors on the PAC
o Press the 'pair' button on the PAC - The LOBBYIST will hover and the DMC
will display that is is paired to a red pac and begin counting down from 45
seconds.
o On the PAC, tilt the accelerometer forward - The LOBBYIST will move
forward.
o Tilt the accelerometer backward - The LOBBYIST will move backward
o Tilt the accelerometer right - The LOBBYIST will move right

o Tilt the accelerometer left - The LOBBYIST will move left

o Press the 'pair' button on the PAC - The LOBBYIST will stop hovering and the
DMC will stop counting and display electromechanically that it is unpaired
