Hi All,
Kindly allow to me introduce myself, my name is Richard with batch ID V14HE8L1 and early this month (4th
Dec) I got placed in TeamF1. I'm going to share all my experiences, though I'm a bit late. These are the
companies I've applied/eligible to apply: WinIT, Green Vision, Panterra, TeamF1 and Mars Telecom (In order I
have attended/applied).
1. WinIT
First was aptitude test, it was not so tough.
Second is a programming test, 3 Programs were given:
a. Factorial
b. Printing pattern
c. Fibonnaci Series
I've written only one program, so I didn't get through this round.
2. Green Vision:
Interview (Technical):
a. Explain UART and formula to calculate baud rate.
b. UART message format, and is it possible to have multiple start and stop bits?
c. Few questions on 8051, ARM, PIC and MSP430 microcontrollers.
d. Again few questions on SPI, I2C and CAN.
e. How to use multi-channel UART if the microcontroller supports it?
f. Implement strstr() function?
g. What does "new" returns?
h. Array of pointer and pointer to array.
There were few more, but I can't remember. I couldn't answer all, and I was not able to get through this round.
3. Panterra:
Written test was scheduled at 9AM at company office, I got confused with the route given by Google maps so I
reached at 9:05AM, I was not allowed to attend the test and that's the end of story. Lesson learned!
4. TeamF1:
1. Written test: basic computer knowledge, C, Aptitude
5. Mars Telecom:
First was a written test: Aptitude, Reasoning, C and other technical skills (Few questions were subjective and
requires explanation)
First round of interview was HR, I had to request for a reschedule because it was coinciding with TeamF1's
Managerial round. I was not called for the Technical round the next day, maybe somewhere I've made a mistake.
P.S. I might have missed a few things but I hope this will give a brief insight of interviews. Attitude and body
language helps a lot, so I would like everyone to focus on that also.
I would like to thank Vector for providing me an amazing platform to hone my skills. I am thankful that I chose
Vector, both faculty and management are top notch and full credit goes to them. I wish good luck to everyone at
Vector and to become successful in life.
