in the world.

Introduction
Lionel Messi is an Argentine
professionalfootballerwho plays as aforward
for Spanish clubBarcelonaand
theArgentina national team. He is often
considered the best player in the world and is
rated by many in the sport as the greatest of
all time. Messi is the only football player in

Early Life
Lionel Andrs Messi was born on 24
June 1987 in Rosario, Santa Fe. Growing
up in a tight-knit, football-loving family,
"Leo" developed a passion for the sport
from an early age. At the age of four
years, he joined local club Grandoli,
where he was coached by his father,
though his earliest influence as a player
came from his maternal grandmother,
Celia, who accompanied him to training
and matches.

The game
It is one of the oldest games in the world.

The Ancient Greeks and Romans are known to have played many ball games,
some of which involved the use of the feet.

A Chinese game called Tsu' Chu, Cuju or Zuqiu has been recognized by FIFA as
the first version of the game with regular rules. It existed during the Han
Dynasty, the second and third centuries BC.

The Middle Ages saw a huge rise in popularity of annual Shrovetide football
matches throughout Europe, particularly in England
The new generation lives today more and more in a virtual world.
We lose the sense of real and we forget to talk, to laugh, to touch, to feel the joy.
Watching a football game you may experience such intense feelings and a growing
force within your being.

Spectators
It is not about the game. It is only about us, the people.
Lionel Messi is a winner, not only because he is a real talent and became the best
football player in the world.

He is a winner just the way every one of us is.

We all have our dreams and we go for the dreams we want to come true.
Working hard and playing fairly, enjoying every moment of our work, following our
passion and put love in everything we do we may experience along the way
tiredness, fear, confidence and maybe then fear again.

And then comes the time when we feel the joy of a dream that came true.

The players
The human participation makes the game.
Nevertheless it is always one star shining on the pitch.

Lionel Messis Quotes

Whether it's a friendly match, or for points, or a final, or any game I play the
same. I'm always trying to be my best, first for my team, for myself, for the fans,
and to try and win.

I made sacrifices by leaving Argentina, leaving my family to start a new life. I

changed my friends, my people. Everything. But everything I did, I did for
football, to achieve my dream.

No one plays with as much joy as Messi does. He plays like a child enjoying the
pasture, playing for the pleasure of playing, not the duty of winning.

A player like him, 100% fit or not, will always make the difference. Messi is the
best player in the world, simple as that.

I am lucky, I live by my passion and there are a lot of people who work, doing
what they don't like and are badly paid for that.

We are the winners

(Conclusion)

We may not be the first and we may not be the best in the
world.

But we are winners for we eventually felt the joy of a well

done work, the fruit of our minds, full of love and passion,
fairly played.
