SIMPLE FINANCE 2.0 - CONFIGURATION GUIDE

1.Controlling Overview
As of SAP Simple Finance Add-On 2.0, the Controlling (CO) and Financial
Accounting (FI) components have been merged. Cost and revenue information stored in the universal journal entry - is always up to date and permanently
reconciled with the income statement. The new Simplified Profitability Analysis is
based on the universal journal entry as well. Therefore, the use of account-based
profitability analysis is a prerequisite.
For all prerequisites and details regarding the migration for Controlling refer to
the SAP Help Portal:

The steps described in the following chapters are critical for the migration to
Simple Finance 2.0.
In the example scenario we Activate Account-Based CO-PA for Operating Concern
10US. When we activate Account-based CO-PA, additional fields are also added
to the table ACDOCA.

2.Delete Settings for the Change of Profitability

Segment Characteristics
2.1. Description
In this activity, you delete the settings for profitability segment characteristics
(segment level) because in SAP Accounting powered by SAP HANA each
profitability segment contains all available characteristics. A summarization of
specific characteristics is no longer possible. This includes the settings for
distributed profitability analysis characteristics (segment level).

2.2. Customizing Path

Transaction FCO_MIG_COPA or IMG activity: Delete Settings for the Change
of Profitability Segment Characteristics.

Activation takes some time and can only be executed in Background mode.

Once all errors from the action log have been resolved the operating concern
