Subject: Motivation letter for INRTUs scholarship
I would like to write this letter to apply for construction technology master programme
at Irkutsk National Research Technical University (INRTU). I strongly believe this
programme is extremely suitable to my academic background, my career plan and my
long standing interest in construction technology.
My interest in construction started since I was young so I decided to become a student
in major of construction. From them, Im always effort to work, research and develop
my knowledge everyday. During my past study in Quy Nhon University (QNU), I was
always be a good student and showed my enthusiasm in my major research field as well
as extra curiculum activities. I graduated in top 2 best students among over 210 fellows
with a Very Good Bachelor Degree in civil engineer. I used to work as a structural
engineer in the structural engineering consultant firm for over a year. During the time
working as a structural engineer, I gained lots of experiences in designing reinforced
concrete and steel structures such as residential house, industrial factory. Now, Im
working at construction structural laboratory in department of engineering and
technology. Im really keen on researching about structural construction field.
Eventhough my undergraduate study and my practical experience has give me stable
fundamental in my major, I always feel that it is still not enough for me a highly
qualified researcher. I absolutely want to learn futher in term of construction technology
aboard. In Viet Nam, there are a lot of construction standards covered from
Russianones and researchers, who have studied in Russia, succeeded in construction
field. So, I think Russia is quite the wonderful choice for my master degree. Im
dreaming about Russia, especially INRTU, where has extremely qualified education
and many good students come from around the world. My long term goals include
pursuing a PhD program, teaching as a lecturer and researching in related field at QNU
or a research institution.
This scholarship opporturity I perceive an extraordinary opportunity to interact with
students and scholars from diverse professional and cultural background coming from
all the world. In the end, I would just like to state that if given an opportunity to study
at INRTU. I would work with utmost dedication and commitment. Im an inquisitive,
hard working and persevering, self driven and self motivated individual and shall
strive to put best foot forward in all my endeavors.
Im grateful for considering my application and I am looking forward to a favorable
