Typical uses
S275N/S275NL is non-alloy weldable fine grain steel used for general structural purposes. It is
used in many applications as it provides good welding properties with guaranteed strengths.
Applications include structural sections, construction equipment, drilling machines, excavators, tip
lorries, grabs, conweigh belts, bulldozers and chain blocks. High strength low alloys have replaced
many structural steels where weight reduction is important (e.g. automotive).
