Sending Students

Praises and Prayer Requests

Praise God that He has called so many
students on summer mission trips this
summer and that they have been obedient to go.
Praise God for blessing us with another
child to add to our family and please
pray for a healthy baby and delivery.

Students with summer mission plans were prayed for at the final Cru weekly meeting.

As this spring semester came to a

close, we had the honor of sending off our 5 graduating seniors.
During the final weekly gathering,
our staff team had the opportunity
to share memories and encourage
them before praying for each of
them. It was a bittersweet time.
Three of the students had gone
with our family to Cape Town,
South Africa two years ago, and
even Luke and Levi still have
memories and a special place in
their hearts for these students.
Were very excited that two of the
graduates will intern with Cru this
coming fall, and one of them,
Emma, will stay at UNC with our
team! We also spent some time
praying for the 12 students that are
serving the Lord on a Cru summer
mission or other short-term mission
trip this summer. Right now, four of
those students are at their locations of San Diego, California and
Juneau, Alaska. There are also four
students that leave later this
month to pioneer the first summer
mission to our new partnership
location in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Summer Update
In case you havent yet heard,
were excited to announce that
Darci is pregnant, she will be 21
weeks this week, but thanks to a
friend of ours who did an ultrasound for us already, we found out

the baby is a boy. Were very excited to be having another child

and there was only minor disappointment from Luke and Levi
who were hoping for a girl. The

take seminary classes and work towards
completing our Institute of Biblical
Studies certificates through Cru. It
has been a good fit for us since
Darci has felt nauseous for most of
her pregnancy and needs more
rest. Being on location has also
allowed Brett to coach student
leaders who are hosting and leading a Bible study for students who
are staying in Greeley for the
summer. We had our first meeting
last week and the students loved
it! Students often lack community
over the summer and their relationship with the Lord suffers, so
were very excited to give them
this opportunity to connect with
each other and the Lord this
summer.

Pray for students in Greeley to see their

need for Christian community and to
come to our Summer Connect Bible
study.

The Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be
gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give
you peace. Deut. 6:24-26
