AMILASE FB
Bacterial alpha-amylase used to eliminate starch based sizers and its mixtures.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
De-sizing at low temperatures. AMILASE FB has maximum activity at 70 C, which makes it especially
adequate for working in exhaustion at 60 - 70 C.
However, in certain articles in which one only looks for a softening effect of the goods, for example
JEANS, it can be used at 50 - 60 C.
-
Desizing of fabrics sized with starch and its blends, by the following methods:
a) Exhaustion in dye beck, jet, jigger (in which case AMILASE AT and AT PLUS are more appropriate).
b) Semi continue. Pad batch processes. It is also possible in continuous with pad roll and pad steam,
although it is better to use a more heat stable enzyme such as AMILASE AT or AMILASE AT PLUS
