Practicum and Field Trips
1. What do you expect to know and be able to do after the
completion of the course?
After completing this course, I expect that I should be able to
understand and explain management motives and methods in
involving non-managerial employees in managerial decisionmaking, understand and explain the nature of trade unions, their
objectives and their place in an advanced post-industrial society,
understand and explain the general management response to
trade union organization and employees acting collectively and
understand the provision regarding employers health, safety and
welfare. I should be able to perform work in a professional manner and
complete assignments on time, familiarize myself with the office procedures,
rules and regulations and to be able to answer routine questions regarding the
same.
2. What you already know and are able to do?
I already know how to dilute a certain concentration of a
chemical to a

different one. But in the plant, they use different

approach in creating a different concentration and its more easier

than on what I know. At school,

we use the weight of sample over

the amount of the solvent but in the

plant, they use ratio and

proportion. It can help me save time and energy

in

computing and weighing the mass of the solute. I became expert in

using the bomb calorimetry at the plant because that was my
morning

routine.
