chosen of the agencies are based on maturity because it will be the guide of electronic
government and its application.
For the measurement, the article used the perceptual measures to capture data on
inforrmation system success and technological factors. Perceptual measures are acceptable
measures in most survey research. Besides, demographic factors (age, gender, educational
level, job level, departmental level, and length of service), frequency of use, types of
computer trainings attended were also measured. While about data collection, this article used
a self-administered questionnaire to measure the system quality, information quality,
perceived usefulness, and user satisfaction.
For the findings, in this article indicate all the technological factors are significantly
correlated with the four Information System success dimensions. The study concludes that the
technological factors investigated were very important in ensuring the successful utilization
and implementation of information systems in the electronic government agencies. For the
result, it dividing by two, there are information system factors and technological factors. The
main objective of the study is to investigate the relationship between the technological factors
and information systems success factors. five technological factors have been identified to be
included in the study. The factors are IS facilities, IS competency, IS structure, IS integration,
and user support. The result also indicates that there has been a well-integrated system in
place within the e-government system in Malaysia. This also implies that information and
resources within and between the government agencies are effectively shared. Another
significant attribute found was IS integration. The attribute was one of the significant
predictor of information system success mainly maybe due to the nature of electronic
government environment setup.
For the conclusion, in Malaysia, this e-government project still new from applying
aspect nad application. However, from the research, it stated the impletation and application
was success. All of the information systems success had been calculated that are system
quality, information quality, perceived usefulness, and overall satisfaction were rated highly
by the participants of the study. This article is subjected to various limitations.
Methodologically, this study does not allow for more elaborative understanding of the
Malaysian e-government system as a case study can.
