inheritance is kept in heaven for you,
4. Psalm 32:3-5New International Version (NIV)

For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the

heat of summer.[a]
5

Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, I will

confess my transgressions to the LORD. And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

28

my hand.
29

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch

them out of my Fathers hand.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

10. 1 John 1:6-8New International Version (NIV)

6

If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do

not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have
fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a]
sin.
8

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

11. 1 Peter 3:18New International Version (NIV)

18

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring

you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.
12. Colossians 2:13-14New International Version (NIV)
13

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God

away, nailing it to the cross.

17. Galatians 5:16-23New International Version (NIV)

16

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

17

For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary

to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do
whatever[a] you want.
18

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

20

idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition,

dissensions, factions
21

and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those

who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness,
23

gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

18. Psalm 32
1

Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

Blessed is the one whose sin the LORD does not count against them and in whose

spirit is no deceit.
3

When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.

For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the

heat of summer.[b]
5

Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity.

I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD. And you forgave the guilt of my
sin.
6

Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of

the mighty waters will not reach them.

7

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with

songs of deliverance.
8

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with

my loving eye on you.

9

Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be

controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.

10

Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORDs unfailing love surrounds the one

who trusts in him.
