LOCATE IT
Your much food is in your fallow ground, not your fathers, not yours
familys but your land.
It is your gift, your assignment that will prosper you.
How do you discover your purpose? Try answering the following
questions:a. What do feel your purpose is NOT?
List those things that youve tried and found no success in doing. Be
honest and look at things to which you have devoted yourself, but
have not borne much fruit.
b. What have you dont that was so easy and for which people
complimented you?
Even though it seemed insignificant to you? Whatever your assignment
is, GOD has given you unusual grace for it.

c. Which verses of scripture and Bible characters have meant the

most to you?
Write them all down and see if there is a pattern.
Who are your favourite preachers? Do they have a common message
that you are attracted to?
d. What were the earliest impressions you had from the LORD?
When you gave your life to Him? Often, they contain clues to your
purpose.
e. For what do you feel a need to correct?
What really concerns you about life? What do you think when effected
would make the world around you a better place?
f. What can you do without paid for it?
g. If you have ever suffered from burnout, what do you still
enough to do?
h. If all your physical needs were fully metYour house rent, clothing, food, car (for life)what work would you still
want to do?
i. What is it you do, that makes you feel His pleasure?
j. What seems good to you?
READ Luke 1:3
Now that you have the Mind of Christ, you will hardly have an
UNGODLY DESIRE. GOD gives you what you desire..
CAUTION:
a. Dont mistake your tent-making i.e. avenue for getting support
money, your PURPOSE.
Pauls assignment was not tent-making, but to preach to the
gentiles. He was making tents so as not to burden anyone.
Nehemiah was not a butler he was a WALL BUILDER.
b. Each person has a purpose and gifts from the Holy Spirit. GOD has
pre-determined where and how these will be fulfilled. NOT ALL OF
THEM FIND THEIR EXPRESIION IN CHURCH yet you are glorifying
GOD.
WHAT YOU DO SIX DAYS A WEEK IS AS MUCH WORSHIP AS
STANDING IN THE PEW TO SING.
You are a living sacrifice. So, teach, pilot a plane, do business
knowing you are pleasing GOD.
c. A true assignment from GOD is upward it is for the glory of GOD
not for fulfilling selfish ambitions. Your needs are met as a byproduct, not the MAIN PRODUCT.
d. GODs presence and purpose go hand in hand.
GOD didnt show up today to give you goose-bumps. It is true
sometimes you will feel His presence but that is not the end HE
HAS IN MIND. GODs presence comes to charge you and to help you
better understand who He is AND WHAT HE WANTS YOU TO DO
ask Saul of Tarsus, Moses, Gideon, Jeremiah the prophet, Abraham
their encounters with GOD revealed their purpose.

BE FOCUSED
IF YOU AIM AT NOTHING YOU WILL SURELY HIT IT.
Acts 6:2-4 says the twelve SUMMONED the multitude of
the disciples and said, IT IS NOT DESIRABLE that weleave
the Word of GOD and SERVE TABLESseek out..men..WHOM
we may appoint over this business, but we will give
ourselves continually to prayer and to the Ministry of the
Word.
Where are you serving tables in your life?
HNV Version says it is not appropriate
WHAT IS YOUR FOCUS?
Concentrate on it and dont feel guilty about it.
Apostle Paul said I thank GOD that I baptized none of you
except Crispus and Gaius(and) the household of
STEPHANUSFOR CHRIST DID NOT SEND ME TO BAPTIZE,
BUT TO PREACH THE GOSPEL.
Some things look nice and correct, but are not for you.
Focus!!! Proverbs 4:25 says Let your eyes look straight
ahead - Fix your gaze directly before you.
Again, 1 Corinthians 10:23 says All things are lawful for
me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful
for me, but not all things build up. HNV Version.
Everything is permissible, but not everything is helpful
Jesus said I have not come to call the righteous, but
sinners, to repentance
HAVE FOCUS, DONT SPREAD YOURSELF TOO THIN!!!! YOU DONT
HAVE TO EVERY RIGHT THING!!!
TILL THE LAND
This is the future you have been talking about.
You will never be 28 again. It is now or never, what you need to do today,
has to be done today.
Utilize your youth. At 82, what will you wish you did at 28??
