Synopsis

John Staples arrives back in Raveback City from the Navy. He is sent home on
medical grounds after suffering from mental disability. The trigger for his mental
state - the manslaughter of his wife and unborn daughter. Upon his arrival, he
discovers that the government looks to implement The Cameron Act, allowing
anybody to serve justice and bring criminals into custody, due to the high rate
of crime that the police cannot handle simultaneously the one rule the act
emphasises however is that the criminal cannot be killed or severely injured.
Out of frustration and his shaky mental state, John firmly decides a moral code
that he will follow and masks up as a ruthless vigilante abusing The Cameron
Act, believing that putting down the scum of the city for good is the most
effective and fairest method of justice.

Mise-En-Scene
Low-key lighting to give off the dark and gritty tone of the short film, as well as
represent the heartless criminal underworld through (lack of) colours.
Dark clothing to portray the lack of remorse amongst the characters in the short film.
Small, confined locations to evoke tension and give off a claustrophobic vibe to make
the audience feel as trapped and immersed as the characters in the short film.
