Why did I choose this topic?
Purpose Statement

What is Bipolar Disorder?


- It is extreme shifts in mood, energy, thinking and behavior
- With Bipolar Disorder there are four different types of mood
episodes: mania, hypomania, depression and mixed episodes
- Mania can be presented in individuals very differently
- At first mania feels good to the person
- It can shortly spiral out of control
