Differentiation:
Students used an array of ICT during the lesson. They were shown the Pop Quiz on the smart board and then we went
through their historical concepts on the PowerPoint. Whilst I read out the questions they had to answer them in their
humanities books as well as, write down the definitions and examples of the concepts. In addition, they were given hard
copies of the activity, but were shown how to do it on the interactive whiteboard. I separate activity was given to Elliot to
finish.
Reflection:
The lesson went relatively well, much better than 7Bs lesson. Probably because I was more prepared and understood
the content better. This is something that I need to work on. In addition, I used different resources to my advantaged,
which helped the students understand the historical concepts. Instead of leaving the class to memorise the definitions, I
got them to write them in their books. My instructions were clearer in the lesson compared to last. Overall it was an okay
lesson though, I could improve upon my communication skills, transitioning and timing.
