Today I am going to demonstrate

how to log on and use USA Test
Prep. USA Test Prep is an online
program designed to help students
review lessons learned in
preparation for state assessments.

Open a Google Chrome page

Lets Begin. Lets connect to the

internet by opening up a Google
Chrome page.

Click on address bar

Find the address bar at the top of

the page.

Type in www.usatestprep.com

In the address bar, you will need to

type www.usatestprep.com and
enter.

Screen will show homepage to USATestPrep

You will now be on the USA Test

Prep main page.

Click on the Log In Tab in top right corner

In the top right hand corner, click

on the Log in tab.

Click on the account tab and type in jdavis

In the middle of the page, click on

the account tab and type in your
account name.

Click on the username and type the username

Under the account tab, enter your

username in the username tab.

Click on the password and type in a

password

Under the username tab, enter your

user password. Click on Login as
member.

Focus on Home page

This is the home page. Yours will

look a little different as my page is
a teacher page. I will log on to my
co-teachers student account so
you can see the difference.

Hover over assignment area

On your home page, you will see

many things. Below your name are
assignments that a teacher may
have assigned for you to
accomplish. These are tasks for
you to complete.

Hover over subject lists at top

If there are no assignments, then

look at the subject lists at the top

of the page.

Hover over Milestones Tab

Find the Milestones tab and hover

over it. Do not click on it.

Scroll down to US History

A scroll down menu will appear.

Scroll down until you see US
History at the bottom of the list.

Click on US History Tab

Hover over the US History tab and

then click on it.

Hover over review options for each topic

You will see a list of topics and

subtopics. Next to each topic are
options to assist you in your
review. Flashcards, Glossary, and
Domain Tests can help you to
review.

Click on subtopic

Click on the first subtopic. You

will notice a menu opens up with
five options for you.

Click on Questions Tab

The first option is Questions. Click

on the Options tab and see that you

can answer questions about the

subtopic. You will have a choice
between random, beginner, or
advanced. Choose one and
proceed.
Click on Vocabulary Tab

The second option is the

vocabulary tab. This option
quizzes you on the vocabulary that
goes with the content learned in
class.

Click on Performance Task Tab

The third option is the

performance tasks. In this section
you will have to manipulate
sentences, words, events, or names
to answer questions or fill in
blanks, timelines, or charts.

Click on Video Tab

The fourth option is a video tab.

Short videos are there to review
the material. After you watch each
one. There are questions to answer
about the video.

Click on Games/Puzzles Tab

The fifth tab is for when you may

have extra time. Games and
puzzles are available to help you
review the subject matter for
which you are learning and
reviewing.

You are ready to begin your review

You are now ready to get started.

Once you start, please keep in
mind that you should score a 75%
or higher to proceed to another
option or subtopic. Good luck!
