The song I am doing is Alex Adair make me feel better and the
person who wrote the words was Alex Adair and Valerie Simpson.
The meaning behind the song is to uplift people and make a good
song to listen too for people that are facing a struggle in their life.
The song is very popular on release and it was 13 on the charts and
his song was released in 2012 but was hitting the charts in 2014.
The song genre is house and is mostly listened for the beat and not
the lyrics. This theme is relevant to teenagers as they are the target
audience and will be the majority of people that will listen to it on a
regular basis. House music is a genre of electronic dance music that
originated in Chicago in the early 1980s. It was initially popularized
in Chicago, circa 1984. House music quickly spread to other
American cities such as Detroit, New York City, and Newark. The
themes are about being positive and defeating depression and have
a good time with friends. There is a case study on depression Josh is
a 27 year-old male who recently moved back in with his parents
after his fiance was killed by a drunk driver 3 months ago. His
fiance, a beautiful young woman hed been dating for the past 4
years, was walking across a busy intersection to meet him for lunch

fiancs death. Hes stopped working out, playing his guitar, or
playing basketball with his friends all activities he once really
enjoyed. His parents worry about how detached and emotionally flat
hes become. This is a case study about a man that had depression
so as some teenagers are in depression they want some uplifting
songs to guide them of the struggle. The statistics show that
teenagers are affected by depression approximately 20 percent of
teens will experience depression before they reach adulthood.
Between 10 to 15 percent of teenagers have some symptoms of
depression at any one time. Depression increases a teen's risk for
attempting suicide by 12 times.
