The Green Awakening Tour

Regional Leadership Retreat Agenda

More and more Christian students are stepping up to take responsibility and lead their
communities in caring for creation. As a result, there is a growing need for intentional
leadership training and community-building efforts across the student creation care movement.
To this end, Renewal is organizing four regional leadership retreats as part of the 2009 Green
Awakening Tour. These retreats will provide a focused venue for student leaders to connect
with peers in their regions and get equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources to work
together more effectively for change.

Renewal’s goal is to have a select group of between 15-30 students at the regional retreats so
that we can connect personally and invest heavily in each of the leaders. Retreats will take
place in Los Angeles/CA (2/28), Seattle/WA (3/7), Grand Rapids/Michigan (4/4), and Kentucky
(4/25) in collaboration with our campus hosts and organizational partners. The tentative
schedule for each regional retreat is as follows:
