dan recount yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan sekitar.

KOMPETENSI DASAR :
3.3 Merespon makna dan langkah retorika dalam esei pendek sederhana secara akurat, lancar
dan berterima yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan sekitar dalam teks berbentuk descriptive.

I. TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN
Pada akhir pembelajaran siswa dapat :
a. Memahami makna tekstual dalam teks descriptive.
b. Mengetahui langkah retorika teks descriptive.
c. Menemukan tujuan komunikatif teks descriptive.
d. Menemukan ciri kebahasaan dari teks descriptive

II. MATERI PEMBELAJARAN

1. Teks monolog berbentuk descriptive

One of the most interesting animals in the zoo is the giraffe. This is the giraffe
we saw at the zoo. It is male and it is about six meters tall
The giraffe has brown eyes. They are protected by very thick lashes. This giraffe
has brown spots on the skin. This colouring helps protect the giraffe. It also has
two short horns on its head.
Like a camel, it can go for along time without dringking water. One source of
water is the leaves which it eats from trees. It is tall, so the giraffe can reach the
tender leaves at the top of a tree.
The giraffe has two methods of self protection. If something frightens an adult
giraffe, it can gallop away at about fifty kilometres per hour or stay to fight with
its strong legs.

A. Kegiatan Pendahuluan
Siswa :
1. salam dan tegur sapa,
2. guru mengabsen siswa
3. Merespon pertanyaan guru untuk mereview materi sebelumnya
4. Menyampaikan Tujuan pembelajaran/ Kompetensi Dasar yang akan diajarkan
5. Menyampaikan cakupan materi dan sistem penilaian

B. Kegiatan Inti
1. Mengamati gambar Giraffe yang diberikan
2. Menjawab pertanyaan guru berdasarkan gambar
3. Siswa membaca teks descriptive tentang Giraffe
4. Siswa mencari kata-kata yang belum dipahami artinya.
5. Menyebutkan langkah-langkah retorika dalam teks deskriptive
6. Menyebutkan tujuan komunikatif dari teks deskriptive
7. Membahas Simple Present Tense
8. Anak mengerjakan latihan yang berkaitan dengan teks descriptive

Siswa :
1. Guru bersama siswa menyimpulan tentang materi yang telah diajarkan
2. Mengungkapkan berbagai kesulitan yang dihadapi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran
(refleksi)
3. Memperhatikan tugas terstruktur yang diberikan guru.
4. Memberi tahukan materi yang akan diajarkan untuk pertemuan yang akan
