THE LOST CATERPILLAR

Seven worms were walking happily. Their mother was leading them. They had
just had their breakfast on a big tree near a river. “Come on, children. Let’s go home!”
Mama worm said.
Suddenly, a Cricket said, “Your last children is Ugly !”.”Ugly ?”,asked Mama
Worm. Then she looked at the children. He was not the same as her other children. “Hey,
Ugly !she said. “You are not my child. Go away !”.
The little brown worm walked away. He was very said. When he was near a lake,
he looked into the water. “Oh, who ugly am I,” he cried. “You are not Ugly,” said a
voice. “Oh, I find you my child.” The worm looked around. There was a beautiful big
caterpillar and her children. They may call you ugly,” said Mother Caterpillar. ”But you
are the most beautiful child in the world.” One day, you will turn into a beautiful
butterfly.

HILANG SANG ULAT YANG

Tujuh ekor cacing sedang berjalan dengan gembiranya. Sang induknya memimpin
mereka. Mereka sudah sarapan di sebuah pohon besar dekat sebuah sungai.”Kemari
anak-anak. Ayo pulang !”kata mama cacing.
Tiba-tiba, seekor jangkerik berkata, “Anakmu yang terakhir itu jelek !”.”Jelek !”
Tanya mama cacing. Mama cacing melihat kepada anak itu. Dia tak sama seperti
anaknya yang lain. “Hey, Jelek !” Mama cacing berkata,”Kau bukan anakku. Pergi jauh
sana !”.
Sang cacing kecil berwarna coklat pun beranjak pergi. Dia sangat sedih. Ketika
dia sampai dekat sebuah danau, dia melihat ke dalam air. “Oh, apa aku jelek,” dia
menangis.
“Kau Tidak jelek,” kata sebuah suara. “Aku menemukan kau anak ku.” Sang
cacing melihat kesekeliling. Disana terlihat seekor ult cantik dan anak-anaknya. Mereka
terlihat sama seperti dirinya. “Mereka boleh memanggilmu si Jelek,”kata Mama ulat.
”Tapi kau adalah anak yang paling cantik di dunia ini. suatu hari kau akan kembali
berubah menjadi seekor kupu-kupu yang cantik.”
