Abstract:

An automated goods ordering and delivery system enables the service provider to
collect the information with regard to the requirement of various grocery items,
medicines, beverages, milk products, bakery items, etc. ordered by passengers of various
ships through respective shipping corporation and to place the orders for the supply of
above items to the respective ships at different ports on different specified dates.

The software encompasses template formats for different types of items under
various categories such as grocery items, medicinal items, beverages, bakery items etc.
The information with regard to the requirements of various items will be forwarded by
individual ships to the respective shipping corporation along with the date and place of
shipping by choosing the required template format and selecting the type of item and
filling the quantity required. The shipping corporation places the orders to the service
provider for the supply of items. The service provider then consolidate the orders placed
by different shipping corporations and in turn places the orders to different vendors
depending on the lowest price quoted for the delivery of items to a particular ship on a
particular date at the specified port.

It will also ensure the payment of bills through online banking system from the
shipping corporation to the service provider for different orders placed and from service
provider to different vendors on monthly basis.
