BRING TOGETHER BI-PARTISAN COALITION OF LAWMAKERS COMMITTED TO OPEN
GOVERNMENT

WASHINGTON, DC – The Sunlight Foundation congratulates the Congressional Transparency


Caucus for hosting its inaugural event this Thursday, April 29, 2010. The event will feature remarks by
the caucus co-chairs, Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL) and Rep. Darrel Issa (R-CA), as well as a bipartisan
coalition of lawmakers committed to making government more accountable and accessible to the
American people. The caucus currently has more than 20 members representing districts from all
across the United States.
