PREFACE

“When Knowledge and Action meets it gives Result.”

A man can become perfect with a perfect knowledge and experience. As a student of
business administration, we have studied many theories in the classroom but any
professional degree is incomplete without practical knowledge of concerned field.

And the same case is with management studies, management is incomplete without
knowing practical application of theories studied. I have experienced and understood
the practical importance of these theories on this training. More books and theoretical
knowledge can’t help you in any field whether it is management or technical. Only thing
can help you is practical knowledge.

This training provides a golden opportunity to the students for getting a perfect
knowledge and experience.

During my summer training I come to know how the management of company is


actually being done. How decisions are made? How corporate people behave and deal
with others? How the marketing people do their work in a market as well as in their
office.

As a part of my learning in management field and requirement of MBA program, I have


been given an opportunity to grab practical knowledge in the area of Marketing and I
had selected “Godrej” located at Ahmadabad. I have made my best efforts to get
knowledge and experience. During this training, I had collected necessary information,
and I present all the necessary information to understand well.

It is an honor to present this project report titled as “To Find Out Potential Customers and to
Measure Satisfaction Level for vending Machine in Customers.” This partial fulfillment of
curriculum has provided me a great opportunity to experience the market practicalities in a
sector of Vending Machine.

Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., Ahemdabad and Lynx Communication (Distributor-Baroda),

Executive Summery

Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. has been providing Vending Machine from last few years.
This project was undertaken for the study of consumer preference for Godrej Vending
Machine and Premix in Baroda (Industrial Areas) in order to know the awareness, perception
and preference level of customers. The consumers’ preference was studied through using
questionnaire. A sample size of 103 customers was taken for the study, whose responses
were studied and interpreted .The sampling design was used convenience sampling. The
process of analysis was done through, frequency table, percentage, pie chart & bar graph.

My objectives of the study are:

 To know the overall satisfaction level of vending machine users.

 To know the major competitors of the Godrej in Vending Machine and Premix market.

 To know the potentiality of the customer in the market.

 To know the Tea consuming pattern in the companies.

 To know the product’s awareness in the market.

 To know the Effective Medium through which the product can be sought powerfully in
the market.
